Texas Afterschool Centers on Education (ACE), a grant funded program known as the Nita M. Lowey 21st Century Community Learning Centers (CCLC) at the federal level, is an out-of-school time program administered by the Texas Education Agency.

About ACE

The Charlotte Anderson Preparatory Academy ACE program provides high quality supplemental enrichment activities before and after school that are delivered in creative, hands-on and exploratory ways that align with the regular academic day.

The main purpose of this grant-funded, no-cost program is to provide expanded academic services – including homework assistance, tutorials, enrichment activities, college and career readiness and family engagement components – to students that meet program  before and after school as well as during the summer break.

Research has shown positive student outcomes and high academic achievement in programs with regular, long-term student attendance.

Registration Process

While the Texas ACE program is open to all students at participating campuses, students with academic needs will receive priority admission.

ACE Attendance
