About Us

Charlotte Anderson Elementary School opened in September of 1986 and was dedicated October 5, 1986. It was rebuilt in 2016 into a lovely two-story building ready to welcome a new generation of Vikings. In 2021 the school began an exciting new chapter by rebranding as Charlotte Anderson Preparatory Academy ready to create future-ready scholars for great things!

At Charlotte Anderson Preparatory Academy we are a School of Character. We recognize our role as models for our students. Our goal is to partner with our parents and community members to teach our students the importance of character development and the impact it has on their future.  We are also Mansfield ISD's first elementary AVID school! Our staff strives to share the importance of determination and goal setting with our scholars in order to prepare them for bright futures.

We want Charlotte Anderson Preparatory Academy to be a school in which our students feel safe, respected, and connected to those around them.  This allows them to thrive both academically and socially and inspires them to pay it forward to others here at school as well as in the local community.
